Terms of Service
-
We will diagnose any device for free to determine the chance of repair or data recovery and provide a final quote for services required.
There is no obligation or commitment, the only fees required are for return shipping if the service is declined.
-
We provide a No Fix-No Fee policy.
This means that if your device is unrepairable for any reason, we will not charge for the work that was done.
You will only be responsible for return shipping.
This also applies to data recovery - No Data-No Fee.
-
Prices cover all motherboard issues. Includes complete circuit repair, restoring full functionality.
(FACE ID issues excluded in certain situations)
*Additional fees may be required if device has had prior repair attempts.
*Any peripherals needed (screen, battery, charge port, etc) may be extra and are not included in logic board prices.
**Devices with severe physical / liquid damage will only be accepted for data recovery*
If possible, please back up your device before sending it in.
-
We offer two options for data recovery:
1. Full Backup:
If you need all data or plan to load it onto a new device, the phone will be repaired to a point that allows you to perform a full backup once it’s returned.
2. Photos and Videos Only:
If you only need photos and videos, the device can be donated for parts (at a discounted rate applied towards the data recovery fee), and your media will be saved to either:
• A Google Drive link for download, or
• A USB flash drive, which you can provide, or purchase from us for an additional fee (required if the backup is 256GB or larger).
Please Note:
*The goal of this service is to save your data.
It does not guarantee a fully functional device, although in some cases it can be used with some or no issues.
Other times, the device may never be fully functional and/or might develop issues with time (as is the case with water damaged devices).
*We recommend that you complete a full backup immediately upon receiving the device.
HOW IT WORKS
•Data is encrypted to several main components on every device, which are “paired” together (the CPU, NAND, EEPROM and “PIN” ic in newer Androids).
•These components are unique to each device and can not be replaced individually (if data is to be saved).
•For this reason, we need to repair the device in a way that data is unharmed and pathways are restored, while maintaining the device’s ability to power on and successfully connect to a PC.
•In extreme cases (physically broken logic boards or severe water damage), these components may need to be carefully removed and safely transferred to a working donor board in a last ditch effort to save data. This requires a high level of experience to be performed correctly and our success rate is among the best in the field when it comes to it.
*It’s important to note that if any one of those components have been damaged, data recovery can not be completed and data will be lost.
THE IMPORTANCE OF “PASSCODES”
To recover data, first hardware problems must be addressed to get the phone booted again. Next comes the passcode. With modern smartphones, it is virtually impossible (without highly expensive forensic tools which are not always effective) to access a user’s data by bypassing the passcode. This is due to encryption created by the manufacturer and incorporated into the device’s software. This also comes with limited passcode attempts before the system locks you out permanently forcing the device to be erased and restored.
Since we have no control over whether a customer remembers the correct passcode or not, forgotten or incorrect passcodes are not covered under our No Data-No Fee policy. The time and effort required to repair the hardware and restore the device to a state where it can accept a passcode is the service we provide, and this work must be compensated.
If the provided passcode does not work, we will assist in trying a few alternative combinations. However, we ultimately return the device to the customer to resolve the passcode issue independently. This ensures we are not responsible for triggering the limited passcode attempts
*For this reason, we strongly advise that if you are uncertain about the correct passcode or cannot recall it, that you consider not sending in the device because payment for the hardware restoration will still be required.
-
Service prices are based off of phone model and complexities associated with that model, and are for devices that have NOT had any previous micro-soldering repair attempts.
Prior attempts can complicate, delay or sometimes make the device unrepairable.
We will work on these devices, but additional fees may be required depending on the condition of the logic board, or if peripherals are needed.
This will be discussed with you on a case-by-case basis.

Your device qualifies for a one-time, free of charge lifetime warranty for the repairs made only.
This warranty is non-transferable from original owner and is voided with the use of non-certified chargers, liquid, accidental or physical damage.
Please contact us directly for instructions before returning the device for evaluation.
Customers are responsible for shipping fees both ways.
If for any reason the problem can not be corrected, a full refund will be issued (if within 30 days of the initial repair).
After 30 days a partial refund will be issued or a credit applied towards future repairs.
Liquid-damage repaired devices are for data recovery only and are not covered under warranty.
Screens/Batteries/Charge Ports come with a 60-day manufacturer warranty.
If there are any issues, the phone will need to be returned to us within that time frame and we will contact the manufacturer for replacement.
